Some businesses begin with an idea. Others begin with a life-changing experience.
For Linsey Denham, founder of Bach Magic, her business was born from one of the darkest moments of her life.
After struggling with her own mental health, Linsey discovered Bach Flower Remedies at a time when she felt she had run out of hope. The impact was immediate and profound.
“Bach Flower Remedies saved my life when I was ready to drive into a wall to end it.”
That experience didn’t just change her life—it became her calling.
Today, Linsey is an Emotional Support Specialist dedicated to helping others find greater peace, balance, and emotional wellbeing through Bach Flower Remedies, Reiki, mindfulness, meditation, and spiritual guidance.

A Journey That Changed Everything
Before starting her business, Linsey spent 26 years as a nurse, caring for others every day.
Yet despite her years in healthcare, she didn’t fully understand the powerful connection between emotions and physical health until she experienced it herself.
Once she discovered how emotional wellbeing could transform both mental and physical health, everything changed.
While working as the Assistant Manager of a SickKids family drop-in centre, she often wished she could recommend Bach Flower Remedies to the families she supported. However, doing so would have conflicted with her Nursing Code of Ethics.
Rather than ignore what she knew could help people, she made one of the biggest decisions of her life.
She left nursing.
“There were many people who could do my nursing job,” she says, “but very few people who could do what I was being called to do.”
Helping Others Heal from the Inside Out
Linsey believes lasting change begins within.
Whether she’s creating personalized Bach Flower Remedy blends, teaching Bach Centre Level 1 and Level 2 courses, leading Reiki training, facilitating mindfulness workshops, hosting retreats, or guiding spiritual exploration, her goal is always the same:
To empower people to take responsibility for their emotional, physical, and mental wellbeing.
Her philosophy is beautifully simple:
“World peace begins with each individual having inner peace and spreading that outwards in their energy and actions.”
It’s a message that resonates deeply with everyone she works with.
Courage, Vulnerability & Faith
Like many entrepreneurs, Linsey’s greatest obstacle wasn’t the business itself.
It was believing in herself.
She openly shares that childhood bullying caused her to hide her light for many years.
“I played small,” she says.
Through years of self-work—including Bach Flower Remedies, Reiki, mindfulness, meditation, and more recently reconnecting with her Christian faith—Linsey has learned to embrace both courage and vulnerability.
Today, she describes her business as evolving into something even deeper: Helping women return to the person they were before life convinced them they had to become someone else.

It’s work she believes she was created to do.
Defining Success
For Linsey, success isn’t measured by revenue or awards.
It’s found in transformation.
She recalls an eight-week Bach Flower trial with 156 SickKids staff members, where stress levels dropped dramatically.
She remembers a young girl whose anxiety improved so significantly that she no longer needed her emergency asthma inhaler—and eventually stood in front of her entire school to speak about anxiety.
She smiles when thinking about a teenager who used a mindfulness exercise to fall asleep after struggling with insomnia for two years.
And every time one of her students reaches teacher level and begins helping others, she celebrates another ripple effect of healing.
Those are the moments that matter most.
Lessons Learned Along the Way
Entrepreneurship has taught Linsey many things, but one lesson stands above the rest.
“Invest in yourself fully. Money is only part of it. Trust, faith, commitment and consistency are equally important.”
She also believes that everyone experiences emotional struggles at some point.
“If I can feel better,” she says, “anyone can.”
It’s a message of hope rooted not only in professional training, but in lived experience—as a nurse, wife, mother, daughter, caregiver, author, and someone who has walked through mental health challenges herself.
