Over the years, we have tried and tested many business apps and tools, and we are always happy to share the ones we love and continue to use with our friends and colleagues.  Following is a list of resources, with a brief description of each, to help you manage and grow your business a little bit more easily.

Canva is a free, easy-to-use graphic design website.  It provides you with free templates that are pre-sized for use in multiple social media platforms, as well as for business use (ie, business cards, letterhead, logo design, presentations, etc.), or you can design your own graphics from scratch. It has a library of free illustrations, images, gifs, and animations.  If you would like access to more features and a larger image library, you can upgrade to the PRO version for a low monthly fee.  

RIPL is an app that easily enables you to turn static images into videos and animations, with add-ons like text, hashtags, filters and links, to make your social media more engaging and exciting.

Buffer is a social media marketing tool which allows you to create content and schedule it to be shared over multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.  It offers three different functionalities:  Publishing, the scheduling feature; Analytics, to help you assess the impact of your social media efforts; and Engagement, which helps you monitor conversations and address individuals who may require assistance.  You can sign up for any or all of these functionalities.  There is a free version available, as well as three monthly payment levels, tiered according to the size of your business.

CinchShare is user-friendly software created to help direct sellers save time and ease workflow when it comes to social media marketing. You write your posts, schedule them to your social media, and then CinchShare does the rest.  Works with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn. It is especially useful for working those online parties!  CinchShare is available for a low monthly rate, and can be cancelled at any time.

SiteGround is a web hosting company, powered by Google Cloud for optimal safety and storage. It provides website building, web hosting, ecommerce solutions, and is optimized for CMS applications.  Monthly fees are on a 3-tier system, based on customer size and usage needs.

Curated Social provides social media content specifically for Real Estate and mortgage professionals. New content is shared every day and your account is FREE!

Zoom is the leading cloud-based video conferencing provider, featuring audio only or audio-video online meetings.  Zoom has features that include screen sharing and breakout rooms for smaller groups to meet within the structure of a larger meeting.  Zoom is available on any platform and works with most digital devices.  You can sign up for a free account or pay for a monthly business account which allows for longer meeting times and more attendees than the free version.

MailChimp is an email marketing automation platform designed and developed for businesses using email to reach out to their target markets.  It is an all-in-one tool that allows you to manage your mailing lists, create custom email templates, and nurture and automate all your marketing campaigns. MailChimp has a tiered monthly pricing structure based on your business size and needs, starting with a basic free account, and adding features and expanding functionality as the price increases.

No Hassle Website 3.0 is a ready-made, plug-and-play WordPress website that is designed especially for non-techie coaches (but is ideal just the same for consultants, teachers, mentors, therapists and any service-based one-woman-show type businesses).  There is a one-time website build fee (not including domain and WordPress hosting), with lifetime customer and tech support.

SmartComm is cloud-based customer conversion software.  It delivers personalized, interactive communications via multiple channels. Designed for business users, it simplifies and standardizes processes, improving internal efficiencies and increasing ROI.

NameCheap allows you to purchase your domain name at a substantially lower price than other domain providers.  They also provide everything else your business needs for its website—WordPress, Hosting, Apps, and Security.  Prices vary according to the products and services you need, but many are FREE.
