October Online Networking Event

Networking doesn’t have to mean walking into a crowded room, handing out business cards or delivering the perfect elevator pitch.

Sometimes it’s simply about having a conversation, getting to know another woman in business and discovering how you might be able to support one another.

Join us on Thursday, October 29 for our MAWB Online Networking Event, a relaxed 90-minute gathering designed to help you make meaningful connections from wherever you are.

Whether you’re new to MAWB, have been part of our community for years, or simply want to meet more local women in business, you’re welcome to join us.

What to Expect

We’ll start together with quick introductions so everyone has a chance to share who they are and what they do.

Then we’ll move into small Zoom breakout rooms where the real conversations happen.

You’ll have 10–12 minutes in each breakout room, giving you enough time to chat, learn about each other’s businesses and find common ground before moving on to your next connection.

During our 90 minutes together:

• Introduce yourself and your business to the group
• Connect with approximately 4–6 women in smaller breakout rooms
• Share what you do without the pressure of a formal pitch
• Discover potential referral partners, collaborators and new connections
• Receive a contact list following the event so you can continue the conversations afterward

And remember, you never know where one conversation might lead!

Come As You Are

You don’t need a polished sales pitch.

You don’t need to “work the room.”

Just come ready to talk, listen, ask questions and get to know the women on the other side of the screen.

Our best advice? Be curious. Be yourself. And focus on building relationships first.

Networking works when we continue to show up, stay connected and support one another.
