It’s that time again—time for the monthly MAWB Instagram Calendar February 2023 edition! Our goal is to provide our fellow business women and female entrepreneurs the opportunity to plan out your social media for the month in advance by giving you some prompts, hashtags, and even some graphics ideas you can use for your Instagram and other social media platforms so you can free your time up for something else. We feature posts for holidays, theme days and “fun” holidays, and posts for engaging with your customers and followers.
How are you adapting to 2023 so far? Have you transitioned fully to writing 2023 in the date yet? Are you progressing with your resolutions? In the spirit of our quote of the month, are you on the path for lasting change? Use the February Goal Setting section to keep yourself on track. Create a goals checklist so you can track real progress over the course of the month. Download the calendar.
“If January is the month of change, February is the month of lasting change. January is for dreamers… February is for doers.”—Marc Parent
Themes for the Month
February is Black History Month. You can take the opportunity to post about some inspirational Black female entrepreneurs, groundbreakers and history makers. Valentine’s Day, and recently the addition of Galentine’s Day (celebrating the power and importance of female friendship), are also big themes for the month. Take the opportunity to use the first half of the month to promote your Valentine’s Day products and specials. Mardi Gras is on Tuesday, February 21st. Also known as Shrove Tuesday and Pancake Day, it is celebrated as a day of indulgence before entering the period of Lent for Catholics, but it has been widely adopted, and who doesn’t like pancakes in the middle of the week?
Other days to acknowledge include Wear Red Canada Day to raise awareness for women’s heart disease, and Pink Shirt Day, an anti-bullying campaign that has been gaining momentum across the country.
