Well, It’s that time again! Labour Day weekend is here, and everyone is enjoying the last unofficial weekend of summer before we start readjusting to the back-to-school routines. To help you get back into business mode and get your social media lined up for the month, we’re sharing 29 Instagram Post Ideas for September.

September Themes
Back to School themes are a great way to promote your business on social media because everyone can relate, whether they have kids in school now, their kids are grown and they’re reminiscing, or they remember their school days with fondness (or relief that they’re over!).
And did you know September is Save Your Photos Month? Social Media is a wonderful tool for sharing your images, making the whole month ripe with #ThrowbackThursday and #FlashbackFriday photo opportunities. Have some fun with it—share some photos of:
- you working your biz,
- your products (past and present),
- and maybe even some of you looking not your best!
Remember to have fun and be approachable! If you have some tips for managing your photos, share them with your followers.

Don’t forget about the hashtags!
Using hashtags is essentially a way to group together conversations or content around a certain topic, making it easy for people to find content that interests them.
Hashtags can be used on just about any social media platform, but they’re most popular on Twitter and Instagram.
If you are using social media to market your brand, then you should use hashtags. Avoid adding hashtags in the middle of your captions or comments, as they can potentially make your content less accessible to people using text-to-speech readers. You should group hashtags at the end of your caption, not in your comments.
Have you thought about your hashtags for the month?
Suggested hashtags for the month include #neverforget911, #equalpayday, #internationaldayofpeace, #roshhashanah, #healthandfitnessjourney, and #talklikeapirate.
